The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation has awarded more than $67,000 in grants to 13 organizations in the region, including the American Red Cross, the Chautauqua Blind Association, and Girl Scouts of Western New York, the Buffalo News reports.
"These organizations are positively impacting our community, and NCCF is honored to support their initiatives," the foundation said in a press release.
The recipients were chosen by a committee of community volunteers who "thoroughly reviews all letters of interest and applications to ensure the selected projects align with NCCF's mission and vision," the foundation said.
